Notification of Change of Owners

When the transfer is lodged for registration at Land & Property Information a “Notice of Sale” is lodged at the same time. This notice advises of the change of ownership and address details and is forwarded to the local council, water authority and the valuer general so that they can amend their records.

You need do nothing in this regard. You will need to notify Electricity, Telephone, Gas and any other services of the change of ownership and address.
